By creating an account, joining a game, entering a tournament, or using any part of the TX Poker Online platform, you agree to these Official Rules, Community Guidelines, and Tournament Procedures (“Rules”).
1. General Rule Framework

TX Poker may adapt certain procedures, timing rules, administrative rulings, or operational standards as necessary for online gameplay functionality and platform operations.
TX Poker reserves the right to interpret, apply, and enforce all rules in the interest of fairness, platform integrity, operational consistency, and responsible gameplay. All decisions made by TX Poker Administration regarding gameplay, disputes, account restrictions, tournament rulings, or operational matters are final.
2. Respectful Conduct & Community Standards
Players are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly while using the TX Poker platform.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive behavior is prohibited.
- Offensive usernames, chat content, discriminatory language, or targeted harassment are not permitted.
- Players may not impersonate TX Poker staff, administrators, support representatives, or other players.
- Spamming, advertising, solicitation, or self-promotion without prior written approval is prohibited.
- Players may not reveal private information belonging to themselves or others.
- Players may not discuss live hands, reveal hole cards, or attempt to influence active gameplay through chat or outside communication.
TX Poker reserves the right to restrict chat functionality, suspend accounts, remove players, or take additional action for violations of these standards.
3. Eligibility & Participation
- Players must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Players must be physically located within the State of Texas while participating.
- Identity verification may be required prior to gameplay, deposits, withdrawals, or tournament participation.
- Only one active account per player is permitted.
- Account sharing is prohibited.
- Players are responsible for maintaining accurate account and contact information.
TX Poker may deny, suspend, restrict, or terminate access where a player fails eligibility checks, refuses verification, provides inaccurate information, attempts to bypass controls, or violates platform rules.
4. Game/Table Creation and Administration
Game tables, tournament structures, blind levels, seating limits, buy-in ranges, and gameplay availability are administratively created and managed by authorized TX Poker personnel through the platform backend.
TX Poker may open, close, suspend, modify, or remove games or tables for operational, security, technical, compliance, player protection, or platform integrity reasons.
- TX Poker may set or modify game type, blind structure, seating limits, minimum and maximum buy-ins, and table availability.
- TX Poker may restrict access to specific tables or features.
- TX Poker may pause gameplay for operational or technical reasons.
- TX Poker may remove players who violate platform rules or disrupt game integrity.
TX Poker provides a peer-to-peer platform environment where eligible verified members may participate in poker games with other eligible verified members. TX Poker does not participate as a player in any game and does not act as the house or counterparty to player activity.
5. Fair Play & Game Integrity
TX Poker is committed to maintaining a fair playing environment. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Collusion;
- Chip dumping;
- Soft play;
- Ghosting;
- Multi-accounting;
- Use of bots, automated tools, scripts, or unauthorized software;
- Real-time assistance tools or outside strategy assistance during active play;
- Exploiting bugs, glitches, or platform errors;
- Any form of cheating, coordinated advantage, or gameplay manipulation.
TX Poker may use automated systems, monitoring tools, and manual review procedures to identify suspicious play. Players suspected of violating fair play standards may be restricted, suspended, disqualified from tournaments, or permanently removed from the platform.
6. Cash Game Rules
6.1 Buy-Ins
- Minimum and maximum buy-ins are determined by the applicable table structure.
- Players must maintain sufficient account balances to participate.
- Buy-in amounts and table limits are displayed prior to joining a table.
6.2 Table Conduct
- Players must act respectfully toward other players.
- Abusive, disruptive, or unethical behavior is prohibited.
- Intentional stalling, excessive delay, or abuse of timing features may result in removal or restriction.
- Players must follow platform instructions and administrative rulings.
6.3 Betting & Gameplay
- Players are responsible for the accuracy of their actions, including betting, checking, folding, calling, and raising.
- Submitted actions are considered final once confirmed by the platform.
- Betting limits and blind structures are displayed within each table or tournament.
- Players must act within the designated action timer.
- Failure to act within the allotted time may result in an automatic fold or check where applicable.
7. Disconnects & Technical Issues
Players are responsible for maintaining stable internet connectivity, compatible devices, and active platform access during gameplay.
In the event of connectivity issues, software interruptions, device failures, platform outages, or unexpected technical errors, TX Poker will make commercially reasonable efforts to restore gameplay integrity.
TX Poker reserves the right to pause gameplay, cancel hands, void tournament entries, issue administrative adjustments, or take other reasonable action where deemed necessary. Administrative decisions regarding interrupted gameplay are final.
8. Tournament Procedures
8.1 Tournament Availability
Tournament functionality may be enabled, disabled, modified, suspended, or delayed at the discretion of TX Poker. Tournament availability, eligibility, entry structures, and prize information will be displayed within the applicable tournament lobby or promotional materials.
8.2 Registration
- Tournament eligibility requirements and entry structures will be displayed prior to registration.
- Registration may close at predetermined times, participant limits, or administrative discretion.
- Tournament entries may be restricted for operational, compliance, security, or player protection reasons.
8.3 Tournament Structure
Tournament structures may include scheduled blind increases, late registration periods, re-entry opportunities, prize pool guarantees, promotional overlays, or other tournament-specific rules. Specific tournament details will be displayed within the applicable tournament lobby.
8.4 Prize Distribution
Tournament prizes and payouts are subject to successful completion of identity verification, platform rule compliance, and any required operational, compliance, tax, or security review.
TX Poker reserves the right to delay, suspend, or deny payouts associated with suspected fraud, collusion, chargeback activity, prohibited conduct, or rule violations.
8.5 Tournament Cancellation
TX Poker reserves the right to cancel, modify, pause, or reschedule tournaments for technical reasons, operational issues, compliance concerns, insufficient participation, security issues, or force majeure events.
In the event of cancellation, TX Poker may issue refunds, credits, tournament adjustments, or other administrative resolutions at its discretion.
9. Geolocation & Security Controls
Players must permit required geolocation and device permissions while using the platform. Attempting to falsify location, utilize VPN services, bypass geolocation controls, or access the platform from restricted jurisdictions is prohibited.
Violations may result in account suspension, tournament disqualification, restricted access, forfeiture of balances obtained in violation of these Rules, or permanent account termination.
10. Account Restrictions & Enforcement
TX Poker may take one or more enforcement actions depending on the severity and frequency of violations:
- Warning notices;
- Temporary chat or feature restrictions;
- Temporary suspensions from the platform;
- Permanent account bans;
- Removal from games or tournaments;
- Delay or restriction of withdrawals pending review;
- Forfeiture of balances obtained in violation of these Rules;
- Reporting serious misconduct to relevant authorities where appropriate.
11. Refunds / Disputes & Dispute Resolution
Users are responsible for reviewing all account funding transactions prior to submission. Transactions processed through the platform relate to access to digital platform services and associated account functionality. Completed deposits are generally considered final once successfully processed and reflected within the user’s account balance.
In the event of a technical issue, duplicate transaction, unauthorized activity concern, or account-related error, users may contact TX Poker support for review. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with platform terms, account verification procedures, and applicable laws.
TX Poker reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity, fraudulent transactions, chargeback abuse, or violations of platform rules, which may result in account restriction or termination.
Players may contact TX Poker support regarding disputes, technical issues, or gameplay concerns. TX Poker will review disputes in good faith and may request supporting documentation, account verification, or additional information. All rulings, interpretations, and administrative decisions made by TX Poker are final.
12. Responsible Play
- Players must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
